Calligraphy tool no longer works with Wacom tablet under Linux

I am using Ubuntu Jaunty on a Thinkpad X41 (which has a wacom tablet/touchscreen).

In the Inkscape 0.47 prerelease, the calligraphy tool has stopped working. It does not follow the stylus, and so generates a short blob instead of a smooth stroke. The pencil tool works correctly with the stylus.

The calligraphy tool works correctly in Inkscape 0.46, so I have had to downgrade.

Did you check that everything looked okay in the Input Devices dialog in 0.47? (that things are properly enabled that is)
