Bug Description
I am using Inkscape to do architectural drawings in which hidden objects are represented by dashed lines. When I draw a rectangle and specify its outline (stroke) as dashed lines, it looks fine on the computer screen. However, when I print it, the sides of the rectamgle extend beyond the boundaries of the rectangle for a distance of five to six times the length of each side of the rectangle. The same thing happens with a simple dashed line; i.e. it is the specified length on the computer screen but is five or six times the specified length when printed. I have tried raising and lowering the dashed lined objects to different layers in the drawing, but nothing works.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me if there is any way of working around this problem because as it stands, I can not represent hidden objects or surfaces in my drawings.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
