Cliped images become unclipped when saved as pdf or ps

Bug Description
When you apply a clipping path to an image everything looks fine in the svg-file. Exporting as png works. When saved as a vector format (tried pdf and (e)ps), the images become unclipped.
Inkscape 0.46, built Oct 24 2008 on Ubuntu 8.10 x86_64
