Bug Description
Under Gnome 2.24.1, Ubuntu 8.10 'Intepid'
Inkscape 0.46
When Inkscape is maximized, the window does not maximize, it merely stays the same size and lops the sides off the window as if it was maximized.
Steps to reproduce: Open Inkscape, Maximize.
