tablet`s cursor hangs up

I use WACOM CTE-640 + Inkscape under WinXP SP3.
Some times(1-3 times in ~5 sec) it looks like Inkscape hung up, because cursor doesn`t move anymore, while I grag pen over the tablet. But if I start using mouse - everything works ok.
In other programms(GIMP) this problem doesn`t apear.

Probably a duplicate of bug #242981.
What version of Inkscape are you using? Is the tablet an external device or a part of a Tablet PC?

I have a wacom bamboo tablet and experience the same problem in inkscape 0.46.
Older versions of GIMP behaved in exactly the same way, but this was recified mid 2008.

I have tried 0.47 as asked, and after enabling the tablet in the input devices menu, the problem appears to be resolved with the tablet responding as expected with pressure sensitivity as well (quite nifty). The pen can be removed from the tablet and repositioned with no problems.

However, after some time (e.g. about ten minutes of usage), inkscape becomes unresponsive. The cursor can be moved with the mouse or tablet but its icon remains static (e.g. does not change to arrow over menus). Windows task manager reports inkscape as not responding and attempts to send error report on ending the task.

This does not appear to happen when inkscape is used with the tablet disconnected on the same system.

I tried again with the tablet last night for two or three hours, and it worked perfectly without any breakdowns.
