APPCRASH when in intricate designs

anytime I am using Inkscape for longer than an hour, usually with an intricate design in progress, it suddenly stops working...

Part of the msg is APPCRASH

I'm sorry I can't be more specific
I am a self-taught amateur just learning my way around the program

there is no option to save the design when this happens
I've lost quite a bit of intricate work due to this and am very upset

all I can tell you at this point is Inkscape 0.46 and I run Windows Vista

I accidentally erased the first part of the error msg but if it happens again I will report it promptly

- have you tried to use a more recent development build from

to be quite honest since I learned GIMP I am not using Inkscape nearly as much nor for as intricate of work

Sorry to hear that you have been using Inkscape less often. I'll close this report for now, because there is not enough information for the developers to work with at the moment. If you get a chance to test version 0.47, and find that the bug still exists, then please feel free to reopen the report.
