Can open Inkscape and files but can't do anything else

No crash but I can't do anyting in my document. All tools can be selected and dialogs and dropdown lists work perfectly but I can't select, nor draw nor change anything.

Previous version worked like a charm.

Win XP PRO SP3, 2 Go Ram, NVidia Quadro FX 2500M.

Can you tell me what steps lead to this non-responsiveness? Is this immediately at startup, or with a specific document and after using specific action? If we know how to reproduce this then we might be able to fix this.

Forget my previous response. Sorry, should have read the title too. Still cannot reproduce this though...

It's not linked with any document. I cannot change any blank document.

However when I open Inkscape on a blank document the zoom to page and zoom to drawing icons work. The zoom tool doesn't work.

Sorry for my last comment : I would say if I open a document wich contains some drawing !!!

And of course I cannot select anything too.
