Can't reproduce this. The PDF I get has the correct length for the dashed lines. Could you test it with release 0.47-pre1, please?

I have observed this bug as well. It shows on two different types of printers, and seems to be identically placed independent of the printer type. The problem is in the print module, not in the PDF generating module. A PDF will be correct, but the dashed lines are not sent to the printer correctly. Use a printer, not the PDF generator.

The work around is to not print in Inkscape, but arrange the plates without printing, and then import the svg into GIMP. The import shows the dashed lines correctly (similar to exporting to PDF). This bug really needs fixing because we use dashed lines a lot, and do not want to use Adobe Illustrator, which has an annoying user interface.

This is a cairo bug that is fixed in cairo 1.8.2 or later.
