Bug Description
The aim is to cut a path (A) at the position where it is intersected by a node of path (B).
This is how it usually functions with two seperate paths:
In oder to snap the node to a path, the settings are:
"Document Properties"
I draw path A.
I draw path B with its end-node snapping to path A.
The cut path operation does cut path A at exactly the position where the node of path B intersected.
However when drawing an ellipse an converting to path (path A).
Draw path B with its end-node snapping to the ellipse.
The cut path operation does cut the ellipse at the exact position where the node of path B intersected.
Thanks for your help.
(I´m working with Inkscape 0.46, built Apr 1 2008; WIN XP)

Sorry, for those typing errors:
What I was trying to say:
However when drawing an ellipse (converted to path A) the cut path command does not operate propperly:
I draw path B with its end-node snapping to the ellipse.
The cut path operation does not cut the ellipse at the exact position where the node of path B intersected with the ellipse.
