Zoom position not saved if file is not modified

Bug Description

If a file is not modified, but you pan or zoom, you are not allowed to save the new "view" as it reports that "No changes need to be saved."
I think a new view of the file (pan or zoom) should trigger the modified status of the file.

This is one of those issues I've had for years, but always thought I was being nitpicky... so since someone else thinks it should behave this way, I don't feel so bad about it anymore. :)

Seems like that would be irritating if you wanted it, and it didn't happen. But it would be even more irritating if you didn't want it to happen and it did. This could be a Preferences setting, I guess.
