Spiro Spline LPE - Rendering problem

Created and rendered in Inkscape SVN rev 18557 (on linux).

Open the attached file, at this particular zoom it displays a bad rendering issue. Black lines infinitely jutting to the right. If I switch to Outline mode, doesn't exhibit the issue... switch back to normal rendering or no filters mode (at the same zoom level) and they immediately come back. Zoom in and out to see it's tied to the zoom level.

More incentive to pursue Cairo (since outline shows no issues)?

Correction... not infinitely. It stays within the bounds of the object with the lpe applied to it.

Confirmed on Vista, Inkscape rev. 21920.

running Windows XP, Inkscape 0.47pre3, I think this particular rendering problem has been fixed, although there are still cases of bad behaviour that can occur.

Not reproduced with current trunk (r12170) on OS X 10.7.4.

@ScislaC - can we close this report as fixed (the example file now renders predictably, independent of zoom level)? It doesn't seem to provide additional data which would be of much use for fixing unspecified "cases of bad behaviour that (still) can occur" …

Not reproduced with Inkscape 0.47, 0.48.5 and 0.91+devel r13790 on OS X 10.7.5.

Closing as 'Fix Released' with milestone 0.47 based on Alvin's comment from 2009-10-01. Please reopen if you think this was done in error and the same rendering issue with this specific test case of the 'Spiro splines' path effect still persists in current stable or trunk.
