Bug Description
Fedora 8 (64-bit) and Inkscape 0.46
When I select the text tool, I cannot change the font from the font list. Instead, I have to
- type some text,
- select the text,
- go to the Text menu and select Text and Font... (or Shift-Ctrl-T)
- select a font (and click Apply and Close)
After that, the font list seems to work OK and I can use it to change the font of the selected text.
This "first time change" has to be done for each text element separately so that the font list works for that element.
The default font is "Bitstream Vera Sans" which I do not have. Changing the default to something that I do have does not fix it, the first font change still has to be done using the Text menu instead of font list.
The font size list works OK. That is the way the font list should work (= when the Text tool is selected and even before typing the text).
Me too...I have this problem con VISTA, with XP I didn't have this problem.
