Bug Description
Inkscape Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modifed. To install this program at a later time, run Setup Wizard again. Click the Finish button to exit the Setup Wizard.

Which version of Ubuntu are you using? Also which package manager are you using to install & remove the older version of Inkscape?
