Bug Description
I noticed that it is possible to do a boolean operation "union" ("Crtl" + "+") on a single path to remove self-overlaps. This is very useful for me, especially in combination with the calligraphy tool, because the tool produces self-overlapping paths quite often. I do this self-union on almost every calligraphy object I create. Therefore, I would like to have an option for the calligraphy tool in the preferences to enable automatic removal of self overlaps. When this option is enabled the self-union is instantly performed as soon as I finish the calligraphy stroke, so I don't need to press "Ctrl" + "+" so often. I know it's only one key stroke, but I think it would improve working with the calligraphy tool very much, because not everybody might know how to remove the self-overlaps. I used to do a union with a very small circle that was completely inside the calligraphy-stroke until I found out that I also could do the union on only one object.
