Bug Description

Been trying to run a print at 2400dpi as my Brother HL3150.
But i discovered when trying to set the print preferences, the settings i make dont save.

In fact it seems to always be reset and print at default settings.

I can click preferences. Go in and make changes, colour settings paper DPI... But once i click OK, the settings seem to be lost. I can go back into preferences again, but settings are back at default.

Setting the "Rendering" tab Bitmap dpi to 2400 crashes inkscape while spooling.

System
Windows 10 pro 64bit
32gb ram

inkscape 0.92.4

Photoshop will save the print profile settings. So i dont believe its the Brother drivers fault.

It sounds like you're experiencing frustrating issues with your Brother HL3150 printer settings in Inkscape.

Since Photoshop can save the print profile settings without any problems, it's unlikely that the issue lies with the Brother drivers. Instead, it seems to be a specific compatibility issue between Inkscape and your printer settings.

Have you tried updating your printer drivers or Inkscape to see if that resolves the issue? Sometimes, compatibility issues can be resolved by installing the latest software updates. Additionally, you might want to check if there are any known issues or compatibility patches available for Inkscape on Windows 10.

If updating the software doesn't solve the problem, you could also try reaching out to the Inkscape community or forums for assistance. They may have encountered similar issues and could offer helpful advice or workarounds.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue and get back to printing at 2400dpi without any further hassle!
