Bug Description
The command "Pop selected objects out of group" in the "Object" menu doesn't work.
How to reproduce:
- Create a Group of two, three objects.
- Select one of the objects within the group. (It doesn't matter whether the object is selected by [CTRL]+Click, the XML Editor or the new Object Viewer)
- Select the command "Pop selected objects out of group".
- Nothing happens.
Applies to:
Inkscape 0.92.3 (17ff0a3, 2018-10-25)
as well as latest nightly:
Inkscape 0.92.3 (2405546, 2018-03-11)
Windows 7 Enterprise German, Service Pack1
I assume it applies to other versions as well, at least under Windows.
Personal note:
I wonder why this command exists at all. The object can be recreated quite easily outside the group using [CTRL]+[C] and [CTRL]+[ALT]+[V] (whereas [CTRL]+[D] would duplicate it _inside_ the group).
And if you really need to move this very object outside the group, the XML-Editor or the Objects pane are equally suited.
A much more needed command would be "Move selected objects _into_ the group". This can not be done so easily using the XML editor, at least if the SVG structure is complicated.
But in any case: if the command stays, it should work.
