Would love ability to save files directly as GSD. DXF conversion to GSD in Robomaster program does not cut files properly.

Would love ability to save files directly as GSD files as opposed to just DXF. The program I am using (Robomaster) for my Digital Craft Cutter (The Silhouette, manufactured by Graphtec for a company called QuicKutz) seems to be unable to consistantly transfer the DXF files properly to GSD, and those are the only files I can use in their program. As they are a big company, I am sure, though I reported the problem and directed them to potential information on the problem in the Inkscape user's mailing list, that any development on a fix, if any, will take some time to effect. I think this could be circumnavigated completely by potentially saving the files directly as GSD, as possibly proposed on the thread I read on a thread in the Inkscape User's Mailing List. (thread actually located here: http://www.nabble.com/Inkscape-and-DXF-files--td13328343.html ). Would be grateful for any information regarding the possibility of such a feature in future releases. Thank you so much, Inkscape is such a great program!

    Would you be willing to post a sample svg file that you would like to have converted to dxf? If so, then I would like to try the procedure proposed in https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/192923 to see if it helps.
