Bug Description
STEPS TAKEN:
I made a new file using snap to grid to start, the intention is an equilateral triangular grid. After the first line and circle were drawn, I switched off "snap to grid" off and used rotation and reflection to make the rest. See attached drawing1.svg
I then copied one of the circles and tried to snap them to the rest such that there is a snap to an intersection between the new circle and the existing geometry that would intersect at the centre of the existing geometry and the intersection of any of the green and red lines shown. I cannot make that work. I have tried every combination of snap buttons.
EXPECTED:
Snap geometry at intersect of two sets of intersections: two points; many points.
ACTUAL RESULT:
No snap to anything at all. Zero. No snap. nothing.
NOTES:
currently running Sylvia 18.3 all updates
In past versions of inkscape that kind of intersect used to annoy me because it always snapped when I didn't want it too but I had figured out how to stop it happening. On this version, I can't figure out how to make segment intersections snap ay all.
TO REPRODUCE:
Grab the attached simple geometry and try to add a copy of a blue circle such that it intersects an intersection of a green and red line _and_ the centre of the original geometry.
P.S.
If this is fixed in later versions, please let me know. I'm using whatever comes with Mint Sylvia so of it's my bad, my bad...

Hi - thanks for reporting this bug, I've manually migrated it to Inkscape's
new bug tracker on GitLab, and closed it here.
Unfortunately, I believe this is not a feature in Inkscape because
1. The selected object can only snap at nodes
2. Only one "snapping" is applied at any one point
Someone may have corrected me by the time you read this,
check out the gitlab (see link below) to see any discussion.
Please feel free to file new bugs about the issues you're seeing at inkscape. org/report.
