new feature for 0.47 Multiple Pages Support

Can you add a Multiple Pages Support in 0.47?
It's very impotent for us.

I know you plan this feature in 0.49-0.50. I waited this feature 2 years :).
I think it's analog for layers. layers=pages (for programing, new menu, copy code from layers)

The new version 0.46 is very GOOD!!!

I don't believe this really is a dup of #170274. This refers to multipage documents. the other refers to printing large documents on multiple pages.

Im in the middle of implementing multipage support.

Unfortunately it is implemented through extension, and the only job will be to export the multiple pages as pdfs.

I dont know who needs it, or what else is needed, so cant comment on how useful is this extension.

Im expecting to finish in one month.

A multipage support would be really nice.

Even if it's only PDF export it's fine for the start, cause I'm making the brochures, that are like 5-8 pages and then I need to create PDF file out of it.

is there any known date when can we expect the new version of Inkscape?

For brochures you can use Scribus. Inkscape's PDFs are still not good for commercial printing anyway.

Maybe end of this year, maybe not. A lot of work goes into refactoring and parts of Inkscape do not work properly right now.

Multi-page is my #1 request right now.

You know, even Illustrator has it now in CS4 although they resisted a long time ;)

Sorry, I marked this bug as duplicate some minutes before your post.
