Second Monitor Dilemma - More

Bug Description

First "bug report" so bear with me.

Using 2017 iMac running High Sierra OS 10.13.5 with older Dell monitor attached with DVI to Thunderbolt 3 cable. Using Inkscape V.92.2 (I cannot find those extra numbers) and xQuartz 2.7.11.

On opening Inkscape, it displays on the iMac. Nothing is usable here. No menu items drop down.

If I immediately move the display to the second monitor, all options are available and everything works fine during that session. If I close Inkscape and quit xQuartz, I cannot reopen it - when I click on Inkscape on the dock, no Inkscape screens display. I have to restart the iMac and then use process above.

Interesting update. In the meantime, I added a default document to the templates. Now Inkscape will not open at all when I have the second monitor connected.
