more ways to position and align curve handles

Not sure if these are called curve handles, I mean the handles such as the ones extending from a smooth node.

We can snap nodes, we can align nodes, but we can not snap nor align the curve handles of those nodes.
It would be useful when trying to work with symetrical paths to be able to do these things.

On a side note(no pun intended): we can also not manually postion curve handles, like setting x and y coordinates, setting the radial distance between the curve handle and the origin node, and setting an angle in degrees.

list of requested features:
- manually setting x coordiante
- manually setting y coordiante
- manually setting absolute degrees
- manually setting the distance between the origin node and the curve handle
- snapping the curve handle to all the same things a node can snap to.
- using alignment tools on curve handles

Excuse me @jhofinger, could you please explain why this bug report wasn't moved to the new issue tracker in the first place? It only gets moved now that someone else came up with the same idea years later? I wonder how many other good ideas are left lingering launchpad.

Had anyone commented on this bug report that you aren't going to read bugs on lauchpad anymore I would have brought the report to GitLab years ago. Please make an effort to do that on all other reports which are still open.

Dear A. There is a project to port bugs, there are thousands and thousands of bugs on launchpad and a very limited set of resources able to process them. When we moved from launchpad we didn't just loose good ideas, we lost people too. So our bug team completely collapsed.

The bug migration project continues and the bug team rebuilding is ongoing. Any help you can give would be very helpful.
