Inkscape error: Linked image not found. Inkscape 0.92.3 Windows 8.1

Version just downloaded the newest to this date.

I was working last night every thing was okay. And its a big project im working on so i think i spend 2 months in this project. And now there is one small image that says Linked image not found. And the half of my project is gone im sure i saved it all im so sad does anyone know how to fix this?

I did not use a image i was just drawing. on most things so i dont get why every thing is gone. i used some images but they are all still there.

Hi Dennis, could you say what put in object dialog URL: Field?
To know select the red broken image, right cliick and press image propieties.
You have this file in this location?

Nothing happens so weird i didnt import an image in like a week so its really stupid. But i really need this project.

Please do the steps required and check for the URL. Alternativaly can do the work for you but need original file shared.

What do you mean do i have to send the file to you? Its okay with me. When i right click and push the button for image propperties nothing happens and i don't know what image it is. ;/

Maybe if you remove the broken image your proyect show?

You can't confirm the bug need be other person, back to new.

Please chage bug description to some thing descriptive and useful to other users and don't write in uppercase ;) Also provide system changes like files moved or not or inkscape version changed or anything can help us.

attached is an example of a svg file with a linked image in it. In this case I have deliberately modified the link so that it is no longer valid. So as a result I get the linked image message that you are getting. In the file there is a section called <image> which is shown below. You will need to find this section in your file and confirm that it refers to a valid file. The line called
sodipodi:absref
and the line called
xlink:href
should refer to existing image files on your machine. If they do not, then edit them so that they do refer to existing files. You can use Inkscape to do this editing or you can use something like Notepad. As long as you do _not_ use Word, because it will reformat everything in your file. In any event make a backup of your svg file before you try to edit it by hand.
