Bug Description

revision 413aaa112, Linux Mint 18.3 Xfce

I've just built master to test the new SVG import, and wanted to try out if it plays well with the OCAL import.

However, when I open the OCAL import dialog, my CPU usage suddenly goes up.
The search works, though, and I can select an image in the result list.
However, the dialog is multiple times (at least 12) wider than my screen and has no 'frame' on the bottom border. There's a large grey area to the left and right of the preview image.

After I dragged the dialog along until I could see the right margin, there was no resize option, but a thin black bar at the right margin of the dialog. After a couple of times of trying to find the pixel where I can usually resize a dialog, it just closed (but Inkscape was still working).

The next time, I just hit enter after selecting an object to import, hoping this would trigger the 'Import' button, but that didn't work (doesn't work in 0.92.3, either - not even tab cycles through the buttons :-( )

(I had to switch to a text session to be able to kill Inkscape after that video, as my graphical desktop didn't react anymore to mouse clicks)

Is related to SVG link last commit? Not sure how to reproduce in my computer.

I don't know, but wouldn't think so. I suspect this is more a GTK3 migration thing.
Only discovered when testing for possible complications of the SVG linking.
