Bug Description

There are times when someone might be working with documents with huge amount of information like node limits. Like say, instead of using patterns to represent large grid of squares, and be able to deform them while still keeping perspective consistent, they might use an actual pattern which can consist of 50000 nodes. Sometimes, when deforming these patterns, that might lead to instant slowdown when editing these. So, one has to disable instant preview, and only render changes once prompted.

As for the pattern issue, this should be a separate wishlist, but I really wish you can distort patterns with ease and no slowdown somehow.
