Bug Description
There is currently no way to disable text-to-path conversion when exporting WMF on the command line (via the -m option). The default is to enable text-to-path, and while there is a dialog box that allows you to toggle this option when saving as WMF from the GUI, there is no option on the command line.

I think the export re-uses the settings previously set via UI, so that might be a possible workaround for you.
I agree that it would be nice if more settings could be controlled via command line switches, but the current implementation makes it hard to maintain as the necessary logic needs to be duplicated for each of the possible export formats.
