Bug Description

When selecting a nested group in the XML editor, this group cannot be moved in the viewport.

To reproduce:

-Create several nested groups, each with a few different paths.
-Open the XML editor and select a group half way down the nested tree.
-Move this group by dragging it in the viewport.
-The top parent group is moved instead.

I can replicate this behavior. However, I suggest using the Objects panel in conjunction with the XML editor to control objects in the viewport.

e.g.: With both the xml editor and Objects panels open, select a nested group in the XML editor; the group will be expanded/highlighted in the Objects panel... the highlighted group can be clicked in the Objects panel and the group can then be moved in the viewport without the parent group being moved.

NB: the above also works with just the Find tools, once nested object(s) are "found", selecting them in the Objects panel allows direct transform in the viewport.

Thanks, using the Objects panel works. However, the workflow is so-so and it would be more intuitive if it "just works" when highlighting in the XML editor.
