Bug Description

Running Parallels 13, Windows 10 build 14393.1258. One of the methods to install says "Can't run on your PC", and the other says something similar. Was able to install from the Windows app store, though.

Some versions of Win10 do not allow installations outside of the Win App Store. Others may require using developer tools.

That said, if you can run the native Mac version of Inkscape, that might be best.

@Ken:
Could you please add information on the exact version (and edition!) of Windows used?
Also please add he precise error messages of both installers (e.g. attach screenshots).

The Inkscape installers should not impose any custom limitations on Windows versions, so this seems to be a general issue with your OS - the cause Tyler mentioned seems probable (e.g. Windows 10 S does only allow software installed from the Windows Store).
