Bug Description

Backtrace is attached.

These commands complete successfully:
inkscape a.svg -g --verb=EditSelectAll --verb=SelectionSimplify --verb=FileSave --verb=FileClose --verb=FileQuit
inkscape *.svg -g --verb=EditSelectAll --verb=SelectionSimplify --verb=FileSave --verb=FileClose

These fail, presumably after the chain of commands finishes for the first file:
inkscape a.svg b.svg -g --verb=EditSelectAll --verb=SelectionSimplify --verb=FileSave --verb=FileClose --verb=FileQuit
inkscape *.svg -g --verb=EditSelectAll --verb=SelectionSimplify --verb=FileSave --verb=FileClose --verb=FileQuit

$ inkscape --version
Inkscape 0.92.1 r15371
$ uname -srvmo
Linux 4.9.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.51-1 (2017-09-28) x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ lsb_release -d
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 9.2 (stretch)

confirmed on Windows 10, Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), using the command:
inkscape a.svg b.svg -g --verb=EditSelectAll --verb=SelectionSimplify --verb=FileSave --verb=FileClose --verb=FileQuit

the first file opens and then the crash message popup appears saying:
Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now.
