Ctrl key not working

Bug Description

Using Inkscape 0.92.1 r15371 on windows 10 64-bit, When I edit a drawing after a while the Ctrl key stops working. I have to save, close and reopen. when I use the menu the operations work but not with the key shortcuts. For example copy, past, duplicate ... shortcuts not working.

Do you happen to have multiple keyboard layouts set-up on your system?

Especially non-latin keyboard layouts are known to cause issues which should be fixed in recent builds; you can try a recent build and see if it fixes your issue:
