When I close one document, all documents and Inkscape close

Pretty much what the summary says. I'm working in an environment in which all dialogs are undocked and residing on the second monitor. The documents are maximized on the main monitor. When I close one, all documents close, as well as the application.

Could you please update to Inkscape 0.92.2 and check if the issue still exists in the latest version?

Just upgraded. The closing of one document appears to behave fine now, but it did behave normally at some time in 0.92.1 too, so I'll report back if it starts happening again.

Unrelated, I now see every single undocked dialog box mentioned in the task bar, clogging the thing.

OK, thanks for reporting back! I'll close the issue for now, if it reappears don't hesitate to re-open it.

Regarding the task bar issue you mention:
If you can reproduce it feel free to file a new bug with detailed steps to reproduce. I just checked with Inkscape 0.92.2 on Windows 7 x64 and did not see the problem you describe...
