Scatter random cloned pattern doesn't work

Bug Description
The Scatter extension allows you to specify that the source pattern is a group from which objects should be selected randomly. This works unless you also specify "Original pattern will be" : "Cloned", in which case it reverts to just placing clones of the whole group along the skeleton path. I guess that the cloning is happening first, and then the logic that checks for the pattern being a group is failing because it's finding a clone not a group.
This is extremely confusing for the user and I believe that an alternative behaviour would be much more intuitive and much more useful:
If the "pattern is group" option is selected AND the "original pattern will be" is set to "cloned", then place randomly selected clones of individual members of the original group along the skeleton path.
