Resize handles disappear when resizing fails due to snapping

Bug Description
Started noticing this in 0.92
Sometimes an object would be snapped to the grid.
While resizing it, the snapping snaps the object back to where it was, and I release the mouse.
Now the resize handles are gone. I have to click on the object twice to cycle between rotation and resizing so that handles appear again.
