Bug Description
Inkscape should supply a tool for creating and editing symmetrical shapes,
eg. a face, a heart or a bird sillhuett.
This feature can be found in CAD software, where you define a line to act
as a mirror for your shape. This sollusion works for 180 degree symmetries
only, but a way to imply other symmetries too would be great.
There should also be options for what to mirror. For instance, one could
want a symmetric shape with a non-symmetric gradient on it.

Originator: NO
You can do this with mirrored clones.
