A Cancel in the Preference menu will be useful

Bug Description

When you open the preference menu and do something for an example Clicking
Take From Selection, there is no way to cancel this action. Only available
option is to close the window.

An "Apply" or "save changes" button could indeed be a better idea (usability wise) than only a cross to close the dialog

I don't like this, it is far better to see all the changes immediately. Maybe buttons "Revert this window to previous" and "Revert all" and "Default settings", if this really is needed.
