Bug Description

Recently, I needed a nice closed double loop. It would have been so easy to
play a bit with sin and cos in a function plotter with polar coordinates to
get that shape! So, I had to use a math program to output PS, convert with
gimp to PNG, import, and trace bitmap. Moreover, the thing was too thin, so
I took it and drew the thing on top of it myself. Please...

Cool! A really mathematicians' way to draw nice thingies - make up a function, then plot it.

The 'Function plotter' claims to be able to work in polar co-ordinates, but I can't get it to work. It may be better to close this wishlist bug and file a new bug against that extension...

The extensions 'Render > Function plotter' supports polar coordinates (and it works).
