Ability to 'cut' a star tip.

I would like to see the ability to cut the inner/outer angles of a star.
This cut mechanism could have an amount, which specifies how deep the cut
is. What I mean by 'cut', is instead of just having something like '/\',
the tip could be cut at a point to be like '/---\', perhaps with different
angles, cuvatures, etc. Attached is an image of what I mean.
