a port to Haiku?

Is there any chance we can get a port of this very useful application to
Haiku ( www.haiku-os.org ).

First and foremost, we would need people willing to attempt builds and
submit patches.

More importantly, however, is that it appears that Haiku has intentionally
avoided supporting GTK+ and has gone with its own toolkit exclusively.
Until GTK+ (the toolkit Inkscape is built on) is supported on Haiku, the
chance of being able to port Inkscape is very low.

In my opinion, this is beyond the scope of Inkscape.
