Bug Description

03327bdef master

1. Set pencil tool to 'triangle in'
2. Draw.
3. Remove Path Effect.
4. Look into bottom left corner / XML editor to find a stroke width of -2.72438812 (in Fill&Stroke dialog, it's displayed as 0).

Additional thought:
Should Inkscape have a check for negative stroke widths? (perhaps there are more attributes like this?) Or are they allowed according to SVG spec? They don't seem to make sense to me.

Maybe is a problem you dont set the power of trinagle in? I try also it this night with clean prefs.
