connecting objects exactly by selecting nodes

Bug Description

Sometimes you want to connect objects by a line. For example you have a
rectangle and there should be a line from its upper right corner to another
corner of an object or path.

This is currently not possible as you can only choose one node, only the
corner of the rectangle but not also the node of the other object where the
path should end.

So what's missing here is a way to choose/select different nodes in
different objects to have defined start/end points for connections.

I'm not sure if/how you can tell the connector tool to use corners instead
of centers, but you are not using that tool at all, are you?

The node tool can only work with nodes of one path at a time. Convert your
objects to paths and combine them. After that you will can break the corner
nodes in two and connect them with eachother.

But wouldn't it be simpler to turn on snapping, draw that line, and group
the objects and line? No need to select nodes of different objects at all
then..

This is the problem, more than one node should be accessible by the node
tool.

But this is a hack: When I group the line and the two objects I cannot
move one object while the line keeps connected.
