importing shapes - position.

Bug Description

I have two documents with identical page dimensions. It would be nice if
importing one file into another would keep the position of elements as in
the source file. Currently the imported shapes are placed at some awkward
(random?) position.

The center of imported graphics is placed at the mouse cursor position.
Sometimes this is useful, sometimes not that much.

OK, but mouse position is hard to constrain - therefore I do not see much
sense in doing that. Nevertheless an option here would be desirable so that
this behaviour could be controlled.
