Bug Description
Something I noticed when running the Mac OS X version of Inkscape:
If it isn't running, then opening a file from Finder will run Inkscape, and
open the file.
If it is already running, then it will switch to Inkscape, but won't open
the file.
It looks to me like there is no way for other programs to tell a running
instance of Inkscape to open a file.
This also causes the same problem when I set Inkscape as the editor for
SVGs in the Eclipse IDE.

I think this may essentially be a dupe of the can't-cut- and-paste- between- instances issue. Inkscape doesn't have mechanisms to interact with the app after it's started up.
