Bug Description

It is dificult to select an object which is below an other.

It would be interesting to have a tree of all objects.
So we can select object in this tree and it would
selected too amoung shapes in the drawing area.

Thanks for all.

This can be done through XML editor (SHIFT + CTRL + X).

If you give "good" names to objects (right click on an
object, Object Properties and change Id), finding the right
one in XML editor isn't particulary hard.

But I agree that some kind of Object Manager would be
useful. With an option to change the attribues and
parameters of a chosen object. And I guess that would be
basically only displaying and editing XML structure in a
graphical way.

Use Alt+click in Selector. If that fails, use the XML editor
(Ctrl+Shift+X).

However the idea of indicating in the XML tree whether each
object is currently visible on screen or not, and/or
selected, is very interesting. So I'm renaming this RFE.

Originator: NO

Sounds inline with much of the layers dialog work I had been doing.
