Bug Description
Currently if you create a few curves/lines with the
shape tool and switch tools before hitting enter or
completing the path it will just go away.
I'm not sure where I picked up this habit, however in
some drawing tool or another this was my main method
for ending curves.
A more reasonable behavior would be to do the same
thing pressing the enter key does.
I'm assigning it to myself, because I'm the one who
cares and I can code. Posting it here for discussion
or if i give up and forget about it.

«The unfinished path in Pen tool is now cancelled, not finalized, when you switch away from the Pen tool. Apart from being more intuitively correct, this also fixes a crash when you quit Inkscape with the unfinished path in Pen tool. »
