Printing/Exporting Crop Marks

Bug Description

I realize this can be done manually by drawing the crop
marks on a locked layer, which is perfectly fine for a
couple of pages of work, but where i work we need crop
marks on every single page of every document we make,
it would be a blessing if we could just press "add crop
marks" to have that layer automatically created.

I personally feel find Inkscape more comfortable than
freehand, and it supports all the features i need for
90% of my work, so i'd prefer to use inkscape where i can.

I think you could solve your problem using templates. You could create a template with the layer with crop marks, lock it and send it to the bottom. Then every time you start a new document you choose this template and, bingo, crop marks. You could also add any other thing you use frecuently and make multiple versions.
Hope it helps you enjoy Inkscape even more.

The dev versions now have a printing marks extension (see bug #301776).
Please tell us if it fit your needs so that we can close this report.
If not, could you please precise if you wish to have these features in the PDF export dialog (Bug #170758) or in the print dialog (Bug #178232)?
Thanks!
