Bug Description

there's a scriptographer plugin for adobe illustrator &
cs which adds ability to run java scripts, effects are
quite cool, i wonder if it's poossible to add it to
inkscape, would be interesting
here's its site: http://www.scriptographer.com/
it's also on sourceforge: http://www.scriptographer.com/
i already posted a question on their forums but it
seems it will take some time to wait for an answer
they aren't too active
if it comes to creating a bridge between those apps it
would surely make them both more lively, not to mention
the satisfaction of potential users

How does Scriptographer interact with Illustrator?

Inkscape extensions can be in any language, though I don't
recall seeing an Javascript runtime that isn't buildt into a
web browser.

Certainly there is no reason an extension could not have
it's own intereactive GUI, perhaps by using TK or similar
toolset.

Javascript or ECMAscript (I like the original Livescript
name best) comes in many forms and usually gets called
something different when it is used outside of a web
browser. Actionscript used by Macromedia is very much a
variation of Javascript.
