Free Transform

Allow to manage objects as a Free Transform tool on
Photoshop.

In addition to zize and rotation, must be possible to
alter object's perspective using mouse.

You can do that and even more by editing the nodes of any
vector object. Try to use the Node tool (second one from the
top on the toolbar).

OK, now I understand! :)

Well, implementing something like the "Mesh tool" of
illustrator or like the "Add prespective" function in corel
draw is definitely a great idea!

Ever tried making text perspectively correct on say a 3d cube?
A free transform tool would be very nice indeed.

Another aye for the request. I really miss the feature some times - especially when i have to do texts in perspektive. Then i usually have import and export the paths to and from gimp.

Texts in perspective can be done with the Effect (0.46) or Extension (0.47) 'Modify Path > Perspective'. You need a second path that defines the perspective transformation (instead of simply dragging the bounding box corners), but you can do it within Inkscape ;-)

Extensions->Perspective is nice (and seems more reliable in 0.47), but using a tool is vastly more intuitive - so +1 here.
