Provide additional nodes for stars

Hi,

I would find the following feature cool and very useful:
For stars, make possible to define more than two points
per corner. Essentially:
* Define a star as a circularly periodic polygon *
i.e. as a set of nodes that repeats n times, rotated by
1/n revolutions (just as the current star does with 2
nodes).

This would allow for easy designing of "sun rays" or
cartwheels or any other circularly periodic structure.

Can you do this with 'Power duplication'/'Step and repeat'?

If not it sounds like good material for an extension.
