Bug Description
I use Inscape since version 0.38, and there's now most
of the options I apreciated in the non-free products I
used before.
However, I used a very powerful feature in Macromedia
Flash, which is not implemented in Inscape for now.
When I selected a part of an object (a line, or a
shape) with the rectangular selection tool, I could
then use Ctrl+X or Ctrl+C to either remove the selected
part of the object, or copy this part to an other place
in the drawing.
This a very intuitive way of modifying an object, and
also, a very fast one, because you didn't need to
insert new nodes, then to cut the line using nodes,...
And yet I suppose it's not so easy to implement ?
Thanks for this great piece of work, which proves once
again the quality of free software !
