ideas for save confirmation dialog

The current, "The following document has changed, do
you want to save it?" could be much better. Gimp has
the best version of this dialog I have ever seen. If
you have multiple documents open in inkscape and are
closing them all, maybe it could show a thumbnail of
each one and a checkbox on wheter you want to save it
or not. This would be more usable requiring less user
interaction and a better feel.

Great idea! User friendliness is what Inkscape lacks the most,
and this feature improves this aspect!

The table in the article is a bit confusing; it lists our
shortcut keys as inconsistent, but they match what is
recommended in the gnome bug report that the article points
to. So the issue may be less about inkscape being
inconsistent, than with so many other apps that aren't
conforming to the HIG's recommendations.

However, the article does point out that it would be nice to
indicate the time since the last change.

I agree that it'd be nice to show all unsaved docs in one
dialog, and it sounds like this is described in the Apple HIG.
