Bug Description

Needed to make light-svg project instead of big ones
(grandient path : same as linear but following a path,
^ shape : same as radial but following contour of shape
^ radial 2 : start with color 0 at 0.1 degree and end with
color 1 at 359.1 degree

More useful:
X shape : for every line start from 0 in left
shape-boundary
and end to 1 in right shape-boundary <edge>
Y shape : same as above but from top to bottom edge.
(eg: this last one is good to gradient an
                             aurora borealis,...)

For the gradients options:
invert colors (0 swap with 1) in gradient edit or
multi color gradient (red->yellow->white)

thanks for who cares =)

I'm pretty sure this is a duplicate and that these features
have already been requested. Please try helping us check if
this is a in fact a duplicate or not.
There is also the problem that to the best of my knowledge
SVG does not yet support these kinds of gradients.

If at all possible please do not file anonymous reports as it
means we cannot contact you when we need more detail.

I was going to suggest this myself, so instead I'll second this one.
There's a LOT more that could (should) be done with gradients. I'd like
to basically see the gradient interface merged with the path interface
so that I can control any arbitrary set of boundary conditions (ie, point

a on path b has color c, all of path d has color e, etc..) and
interpolation functions.

It seems that every time I search for a particular feature,
someone has already requested the feature. We NEED this
one. Multi-gradients or complex gradients should be a
standard feature. It would make this program even more of
an awesome thing!

Thanks.

Did anyone contact SVG team on this issue when they were
requesting for features?

I search through archive of their list and haven't found any
mentioning of it.

Oh well, I obviously missed the following one:

Is anyone else interested in further investigation of SVG
developers plans?
